Have had the ipad 4 for 6 months with no problems connecting to wi fi at home. All of a sudden wi fi connection is gone and when I try to establish connection, I get this message...."unable to join the network......." Have tried resetting network, restarting ipad and looking for answers online. No luck. Wi fi is working ok with other devices. Any help please?????

I get that message when my wi-fi gets disconnected for some reason. Have you checked your router connections? You might have to reset your router because that's what I had to do in order to restore wi-fi connection to all of my devices.

If I can just add to this excellent post, on the odd (very odd) occasion that I have had to do this, after pressing the reset I then go and power the router on & off before logging back into the network......it's never failed me!

Thanks for the ideas....I reset the wireless router and that took care of it.

Glad that it worked - I reset my modem/router about once a week when our Wi-Fi network fails to connect (usually when I'm on my MacBook Pro) - virtually always works - my suggestion for those having this issue would be to 'power recycle' both the modem & router, if applicable. Dave :)
