iPad 4 beeping when charging

Hi, just got a new iPad fresh out the box, setting it up and plugged it into the mains, it starts constantly chirping whilst the plug is in. Anyone else had this? Or know what it is about?

Normally it just beeps once, when you plug the charger in.

Yeah I am aware of that, I have an iPad 3 and iPhone 4. This new iPad 4 is just constantly beeping when charging though

I have a iPad 4 and it just beeps once. You may want to take it back, that noise would drive me nuts.
