iPad 2 and otterbox defender

I have Defender on my iPad and took it off the other day and noticed a separation between screen and body. When you look at it from side you can see an area about inch long where the screen is raised up.

Apple says the screen can it be reset.

I think it is caused by extra pressure the case placed on screen.

Anyone have similar problem.

I've had my iPad 2 in a Defender case since December. It gets plenty of stress, bouncing around in my truck. Haven't noticed anything untoward yet.

Turns out it's not the case. Appears to be battery expansion causing the problem

Is battery expansion a problem with these IPads ?

Don't know if it is a problem. But guess it does happen sometimes.
