Info on updating & removing jailbreak for iPad 2

Hi,

I waited too long and realize I'm currently unable to update my iPad 2 and keep the jailbreak. I need to go ahead and update anyway and just wanted to know if there is a post with info on what I need to do.

I'm currently on 5.1, I think, so it's been awhile since I've fooled around with it. I'm dreading losing my jailbreak as it is and just want to do this with as little frustration as possible.

I've got a MacBook Pro and the latest version of iTunes. I would think it would be pretty straightforward but past experience, well, nothing ever seems easy where iTunes is involved! Thanks for the help!

If you check out this thread http://www.ipadforums.net/threads/how-to-jailbreak-ios-7-1-x-using-pangu.122355/ You'll see that iOS 7.1.2 is jailbreakable with a new jailbreak called Pangu. If you want to re jailbreak after updating follow the directions in the tutorial.
