That's going to end up a great stadium scifan:)
Interesting how the two segments are engineered to meet up like that rather than a continuous build.
I'm sure it won't happen but I couldn't help thinking of this scenario....

The work seems to be progressing well.

Hi Andrew - I've seen that photo before (and several others w/ the same theme) - assume a 'fake' - Dave :)

A few years ago, we had a little landscaping done to our side yard which we rarely visit, but yesterday I did a walk through and the plantings have really started to grow - there are about a half dozen hydrangeas, which are in bloom - the bushes are still small but hopefully will look better in a few more years. Dave :)

I know you're right Dave. Like you, I can't see that sort of stuff happening too often in real life. One really wouldn't have engineers like that even if they use very old clapped out theodolites. The thing to marvel at is how they manage some of those complicated engineering projects:)

Well, I was just googling 'misaligned bridges' yesterday to read some of the comments - found another pic (below) that is an obvious fake, especially the different heights of the two parts - funny! :) Dave

These are from my walk today
A dragonfly collided with my leg. It landed afterwards, and didn't move, even though I came quite close when I took this photo:
