That's lovely! :D

I'm a big fan of animated films (like the Disney classics) w/ cute little non-humans - don't know why? We have a lot of stuff creatures in our house of all different types - below just a corner of our den w/ my stuffed bunnies.

Another example before my retirement, I was a radiology professor and had a 2-year cycle of lectures (all on PowerPoint) on the GI tract w/ a few exceptions including Hysterosalpingography (won't explain unless asked ;)) - but one of my slides included uterine anomalies, one of which is named after the Virginia opossum - found a cute image from the National Opossum Society to add to the slide (both slide & original images below) - my residents always chuckled at that that one - just so cute! :) Dave

I was surprised too about mine, although I tried to get nearer as quiet as possible.

They are a rare sight here. I can't remember when I saw a European peacock in my region last time.
I like your butterfly. It's beautiful.

Well below a new addition to the family! :D A 2014 Camry LE Silver Metallic - will be ready in a day or two - we traded in Susan's 11 y/o Camry and have not bought a new car in 9 years! We're already planning a bunch of short driving trips for the summer and early fall, so this will be our NEW road yacht - and BOY the audio system has REALLY been updated in a decade (as expected) - I'll be able to just connect my iPod (90+ hrs of music) via Bluetooth to the car's system (may drive Susan NUTS! ;)) - Dave :)

<img src="http://www.ipadforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=57527"/> This evening, Lake Neusiedl.

That is very beautiful Johanna! You live in such a beautiful area, and more so when the sun sets!

How exciting to be getting a new car Dave! Just love the smell of them when they're new!

As long as Susan has control of that iPod, I think you will be fine! ;)

Yippee! It was about time. If Dave's music drives me nuts I will start whining about rest stops every 15 minutes. I get the old 2005 car because of my propensity for attracting dents and scratches.

Thank you!
If you love your place/area, you won't find something really ugly, I think. Maybe if you'd come here, you'd be disappointed because of all the pictures I already posted in this thread, and in the other one I started last year, but then again: you wouldn't know where to go to find these sights, and when to go there to enjoy them. :)

That's a great car Dave & Sue! Well I think so, to display a bias;) I reckon Toyota produce a nice version of the silver metallic; well, more silvery like and not as dull as some makes:)
Here's ours in that silver, a Corolla Levin SX 1.8 litre, just reached 7000 km. Has enough herbs to drive us around Australia if wished, but with great economy @ 7 litres/100 kms. Ours has the CVT (constant variable transmission) auto, which I'm told has better fuel consumption than a manual. We traded in my wife's '94 Camry 3l 6 cyl. auto and my little '07 1.5 l Yaris manual as we decided one car in the garage is quite sufficient for our needs, and surprisingly there have been very few time overlaps re "individual usage needs" (read arguments).

Our last three cars have been Toyotas, simply because, like the iPad, "they just work" and we've had excellent reliable use out of them. Enjoy your new car!

Hi Andrew - glad that your Toyota is working fine for you - I believe this is our fifth Toyota Camry (most LEs & one fancier - this time the LE was fine) - the model just seems to fit our personalities and needs; the only issue is when I need to haul some lumber from Lowe's or Home Depot - but easy since the back seats go down and I can easily get 6 ft. lengths into the truck, and even 8 footers by flattening the right front seat. :) Dave
