J. A. I zoomed in on it, saw the second rainbow clearly ( without my glasses on ;) ) and it was truly lovely. Don't get so good that you expect perfection from every photo you take! To me this one was perfect! :):) squib
Thanks for noticing my avatar! I'm hoping my flowers that came out early when it was balmy and then froze for a month will survive!

I'm far away from perfect, just trying to get better. :-)
That's a nice avatar.

If you zoom in on it the colors are wild! Have you ever seen a flower like this? Or know what family it comes from? It looks kind of like a sunflower to me... But I don't know flowers very well! I just enjoy them and ask other people! :);) :);) :);) squib

HEY DOUBLE THANKS FOR THAT JOHANNA,! I can't pronounce but at least I know it is real!!

It could be a cultivar of a sunflower. It looks like this, I think:

Just the inner part of it. This one is called Osteospermum (Pink Whirls).

By chance, I took a picture of a Great Tit when it started flying: <img src="http://www.ipadforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=55587"/> This photo is cropped.
I love it when I find that I've taken a great photo (as yours is!). My tiny camera lag sometimes works in my favor - but usually doesn't.

I need a root canal.<img src="http://www.ipadforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=55646"/> This post handcrafted from 100 percent post-consumer recycled electrons.

Ooooh! That's not good and they're very expensive here too!

Just loath going to the dentist, but it's a necessary evil! ;)

Good luck with yours!

Thanks for your concern, but dentistry doesn't scare me. I don't mind my dentist, he's been a personal friend for over 30 years, and the excellent endodontist he sends me to has already done two root canals on me. It's pretty much painless, it makes the pain go away, but it's certainly annoying...and very expensive. The last one was US$1200, with another US$1400 for the crown. But I like having teeth, they make food a whole lot better. :)

Hi Lanny - yep, that 'lucency' at the roots of that tooth is a periapical abscess, and sorry about that crown sitting on top - ouch on the price!

Wife & I have had a LOT of expensive dental work over the years - most recent for me was a re-do of a root canal and a bridge of my upper incisors (and old war injury, i.e. a pogo stick accident back about 60 years ago! :)) - Dave
