Anyone know what this is? It showed up on my sofa, and eventually hid in a cup that I put a lid on. I put it outside.View attachment 61127

Looks like it might be a flying squirrel. Anyway, a search for Wisconsin squirrels turns up images that look pretty close.

Keep an eye out for a large talking moose.
It's a small flying squirrel all right, here's a couple of photos I found.

It was looking for a nice, warm place to spend the coldest nights of winter, with maybe a dozen of its friends. Flying squirrels don't hibernate, but they do huddle together to conserve warmth. If it found its way indoors once, it will again, unless you plug the hole. Unfortunately, they're as destructive as they are cute.
 
Thanks everyone. I just didn't think a squirrel would be that small, but I believe it was a flying squirrel. I hope he finds some others to huddle with and doesn't come in again. Sure was cute though.
