No idea. All my flowers are leftovers from the previous tenant. That they survive, let alone bloom, is a tribute to their toughness. I ignore my yard, at least as much as my landlord and neighbors will let me.

Sigh, time to mow again. And I suppose I should trim those roses and other dead flowers, along with the weeds that no longer look like they might be flowers.

Shortly before my work started, I saw the red sun rising. There was no time to look for a better position, and the only camera I had with me was my small Ixus. In spite of all that, I couldn't resist to take a picture.

Very nice photo. Is it from near your village?
Thank you!

It's the place where I often take pictures: Darscho. Maybe it looks different because I was holding the camera vertically, it was cloudy, and the sun is setting at a different place than in summer.

Soon, you'll have an iPhone camera with you all the time. It's a nice fall back. I often use it even when I'm carrying my DSLR. It's quick, and let's me document the scene location for later reference.

Now that you remind me... I didn't think of that. The camera on my SGS 3 is not really good, that's why I rarely use it. Something else to look forward to. :)

Well, the pic below showed up on my FB Timeline a few moments ago - had to chuckle - :D

Guess one needs to listen closely to the 'Ole Man' - Dave ;)

The ruins of Christ Church Greyfriars; London, England. The church was destroyed during the blitz in WWII and never rebuilt. The ruins are now a public garden. This photo was taken from the top of the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral.
