Image/Photo Thread Of Any Images You Would Like To Share....

If I recall , I think I took them on my iphone , which at the time would have been the iphone 5. I have used touch to focus on my ipad quite often too, I have the 3rd gen ipad . Sent from my iPad 3 64gb using iPF
Do you think it might work on an iPad 2 ( doesn't have retina display, Siri or g3. If so what do you do to make it work? :) ;) :) ;)

If it does work, all you have to do is touch on the screen where you want it to focus , better on shots with depth , if you touch where you want you should see a focal difference, presuming it works,on ipad 2

Touch and hold for a second or two, that is. It doesn't happen immediately. A yellow square shows up around your finger to show that the focus and light adjustment areas have change (from the center) to where you want them.

BTW, it's not the picture itself you are selecting but an area of the camera sensor. If you set the focus in the corner it stays their until the next picture, even if you move the camera to a different view.

I've no idea if the iPad 2's camera app can do this. If it can't, a third party camera app should work.

Speaking of which, some third party camera apps let you set the focus and light metering to two different locations. That could be handy for tricky shots.

My iPad camera is horrible. But this saves my day always. Yes this teick exist. Everyone should try this.

I prefer the Camera Awesome! App from SmugMug. A reverse pinch separates focus and exposure, each of which can then be dragged to any point on the sensor, and a double tap reunites them in the center.

I took this shot a while ago , again using touch to adjust focal point , unedited

The lilac is too early this year. Original photo, neither cropped nor enhanced.

I think possibly our climate is changing causing premature flowering ..??!

Saturn seems too small. Cassini took this picture at about 383.000 miles (more than 600.000 km), more than the distance between earth and moon:

The picture you posted is nice, though.

From my Twitter feed today. How 'Saturn' would look from Earth if it were in the same orbit as the Moon is. AA Sent from my iPad using iPF

That's a surreal perspective , a shame we'd probably never survive with it so close ,
