I found this bush/tree (?) on one of our village playgrounds.

Hey TPoet, great photo's, i love Gypsy! I could tell by her stance that you would be picking something up, if not then, very soon after! :-). How old is Gypsy and how long have you had her? You live in a beautiful area BTW!! Thanks again for the help a few days ago. Another cyberhug coming your way!

Be Love and Beloved

Actually, no, nothing to pick up. She hunches a bit when she's thinking along those lines. Besides, this far into the walk she's almost always done with business and just smelling the roses (and less savory things). And marking, of course, though that's also mostly an empty gesture by this point.

Gypsy is somewhere around 7. I got her when she was about 2, from a woman at the park who was moving to a place where dogs were not welcome; or that was the story. I was considering getting a dog anyway, so I took her.

REALLY!!! You were just walking in the park and a lady said "hey, do you want my dog?" That's wild!

Hi Johanna - would love to know what that bush/tree/shrub may be? Has some interesting foliage - Dave :)

ME TOO!!! Can you take a photo of one leaf so i can see the shape of that leaf? I would really appreciate it! ;)

No problem! That makes more sense, what a lucky dog to have found you to care for her! Is she part collie?

She's probably part rottweiler, judging by the shape of her head, other than that it's pure guesswork. There are several breads (besides the rottweiler) that have her combination of black and tan marking, as well as longer hair. She might even be a long haired rottweiler (a recessive gene), though she seems slightly small and too lightly built for that.

I'd like to know that too.
In the afternoon, when I find the time to take a picture, I'll do so and post it here.

Thanks, Johanna, then I will be able to tell you what kind of tree it is. I just need a photo of one leaf, preferably laying flat, not curled so I can see the exact shape!

I was "zooming in" on foot. :D
I hope that will help you identify them.

Well, your hand, or was it your foot:), certainly contributed to nice pictures! Makes one realise your winter is just around the corner. Nice photography!

LOL I went nearer to the trees/bushes, so no manual zoom, but it's still impossible to take pictures with my feet. Besides, it's too cold to put off the shoes. :-)

Thank you, Andrew! Yes, it's getting colder now, although October is a month with some warmer days as well. I've been told that we'll have 20° C on Sunday.
