WOW!!! Those are absolutely gorgeous ! Why do you have a garden center where you work? Is it for relaxation or for people to buy or something else? They are really magnificent ! Now if only a butterfly would come along, land on an orchid - how awesome that would be!

Since the part of the garden centre containing the orchids and several other types of flowers is indoors, butterflies are unlikely. The garden centre is part of a large grocery store and all flowers are for sale.

Perhaps someone with the know how can merge them?

I am always amazed at how bees lose no time in visiting plants for sale in a street market.

In my family history mag this month there is an article on life in 1951. The first photo is an aerial. IWW of the Festival of Britain exhibition.

I wanted to see if I could use the Maps 3D view to compare then and now.....

It's the best I could do :)

The Millennium wheel / London Eye is lasting a lot longer than Skylon which was the iconic structure in the FOB.

Fascinating those two photographs, Richard. I kept switching between them to compare. Amazing what changes can happen to a city area within London in 60 years

The Ice Age Trail is entirely in Wisconsin and follows the edge of the glacier that was here. Many of the parts of the trail are not as rugged as the photos I posted last night. Google ice age trail or go to www.nps.gov/atr/ for lots of information.

You would indeed feel like a princess if you had this cake.

Most of the girls at my school and perhaps one of my colleagues would certainly like that cake.

I rather liked these posters on show at the Victoria & Albert (V&A) museum.

We visited the V&A on Friday. Walked a lot without realising and got home worn out!

I like your poster photos, Richard. Is the last photo of a poster for the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour?

It's not for the MMT. I believe it's one of the psychedelic posters, but I don't think it was for a particular show or tour.
