I'm the new kid on the block!

Hey! I am a female geek-wanna be and I have currently been given an iPad by my spouse. I work at a mental health/IDD center in Texas. I am on the support help desk and have a life after work. I've always been a Windows user but my daughter has been seriously attempting to convert me to the fruity side of the street (Apple). Love the interface--but I need to explore a while in this world before I buy a brick. Any help and advice you can give me will be welcome.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
