iBooks and game apps for small kids

Pretty new here folks so hope this isn't a FAQ.
Do you have any recommendations for some good iBooks for 2 & 3 year olds?
Also any games that they may like.

Christmas Tale for iPad. Just wonderful. Kids won't put it down.

There are some interactive miss spider books that my daughter loves

The only way you can install apps not in the iTunes app store is to jailbreak your iPad--not recommended.

Not sure what your point is famerbean?! I didn't request details of non-iTunes apps. Any way bartelby's buttons is great even though we are stuck on one of the levels!

Yes, where are you stuck? We just read this tonight with my 4 yr old! We love bartlby!

Stuck in the open sea chapter! Not sure how to make the compass turn to south east.
Carisa thanks for the links, I'll cheek them out this weekend.

You have to press the buttons to get to calm seas, and then actually hold the iPad and move it around to get it to show the island to the south east. It took us a little while to figure that one out as well!

educational game for kids

I discovered a new interesting game on I-phone for my child which is called Baby Animal World. I recommend it to parents who want their kids to play and learn especially when you are on the go or at restaurants

Itsy Bitsy Spider

And The Cat in the Hat.
