I HATE screen protectors

Its all about how it is applied. If the screen protectors are applied with a solution, it minimizes-if not prevents/stops-bubbles. If they are just a one shot sticky back type screen protector, bubbles are bound to occur at some point.

The Moshi only adheres round the border, so the screen area is like a kind of bubble, therefore it doesn't actually adhere to the visible screen.

That would be worse than small bubbles.
