I have joined this thread because I have a VERY LONG running synch in progress. I have a 64 mega byte iPad 1. I have been running synchs periodically as I prepare my iPad to joing me on a long vacation. Last night, I tried to do a final synch which should have mainly added 4 final TV shows to the total items synched. I started the synch at about 9pm last evening. At about 11pm, I finally left the synch running while it was displaying the messageL Step 7 of 7 Synching TV shows to the iPad - waiting for items to copy. When I got up this morning, that was still the message being displayed. Do I have a problem, or do I just need to wait (like for how long?) for the synch to complete on its own. If I need to do something - what do I do?

This was a problem under IOS4 and the original iPad and there were any number of solutions. You don't say which iPad you have and which version of IOS you're running. Search the forum for some ideas.
