I am a new user of an iPad, seeking any suggestions !

I am a new owner of an iPad, and would welcome any suggestions anyone might have to get the most out of my iPad. I have had an I touch for years and would really like to get my music from it on to my iPad without loosing what I have on my iPad now. I lost my iTunes library file for the music on my iptouch when my laptop was stolen and have been told that I will not be able to transfer it without loosing the apps and what not, on my new iPad.
I would also welcome and suggestions for my iPad, with respect to apps and so on, that are "Apps to have"

With regards to your music, was it all downloaded from iTunes or from other sources, if from iTunes you will be able to recover it. Just let us know and we can help you through the steps.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Well that makes it a lot harder, I'm guessing that you have no backup of your laptop hard drive?

There is software out there that will allow you to drag all the media from one device into your computer/iTunes. I have done this before and I did it with free software, it was a long time ago and I can't remember what the software was called but a bit of googling should get you what you want. Once it's back in a computer you can sync it to your iPad.

All is not yet lost!
