HTML5 Web Storage Loophole Affects Most Browsers

Taken from here: HTML5 Web Storage loophole can be abused to fill hard disks with junk data - Network World My take on this. Malicious website could fill up your iPad storage in a matter of seconds. My question, what impact does clearing the cache and using private browsing have on things such as enabled email clients on iPad. I'm assuming any website info like logins that allow you to return without logging in again wouldn't function..is this correct? Any and all input appreciated.

Perhaps I need to rephrase a question: Is there a way to limit or refuse HTML5 data from being cached on an iPad? And, if so, is there a way without using private browsing? Greatly appreciate any and all responses.
