I had and An iPod shuffle 2 years ago but after that got myself a Walkman and couldn't have been happier. I only own the the iPad but if competition makes another product few years from now that is equally as good and more open.... Who knows...

Myself....mbp, iPad, iPod touch 1g, iPod shuffle. Husband Mac Mini, iPod nano and hand me down ibook g4, son mbp, iPod touch 1 g, daughter new Mac book, old iPod nano, 3G iPod touch, do I count the macs in the closet? Hmmm only 2, a classic and a Wallstreet PowerBook. That makes......14?
