How do I hide/det rid of the Bookmarks column.

I have tried everything-going into Safari but the column stays on left hand side in landscape mode. It takes up too much of screen. HELP!

I have tried everything-going into Safari but the column stays on left hand side in landscape mode. It takes up too much of screen. HELP!

Tap the book icon at the top left. This will hide it. To show the bookmarks, tap the icon again.
