How can I see what is on iCloud?

Hello and welcome to the forum! :)

Well, what are you looking for and what are your concerns about iCloud? Apple has a tutorial HERE, and there is plenty of information already here about this new service.

You can also go into 'Settings' and select 'iCloud' to see what can be activated (or not) - I have an account but have not yet started to use iCloud, but many others have so if you just voice your issues, maybe more specific answers can be offered - good luck!

Updates is a disaster lost all diabetic info for my doctor. Can not load many up purchased apps purchased from the apple store.

When I backup my PC, I see what's backed up on the external drive. With iCloud I really can't see the files that are there, so I am not comfortable. Now I found out that if an app is not iCloud compliant, its data does not get backed up. I would have to use iTunes anyhow to back up its data. And with iTunes I also can't even check that it is backed up properly! I hope I never hear the word "sorry"!

I noticed the question was never answered. I just curious to see what is in my iCloud, but I gather there's no way to do that.

If you go into iCloud in Settings, you will see the apps that sync across your devices then press Storage and Backup and then Manage Storage. Select your iPad and this will load and show you the apps that are backed up with iCloud, you can then select other Apps here also and turn them on or off. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the IPad forums!
Have a nice time here.
Also, I think there is some tutorial for that at the app store, the name is on the tip of my tounge lol.

I still don't see anyone answering the question. I came here looking for the answer to this question too.

How can I see the files that are backed up on my iCloud?

I don't want to see a list of the apps that are supposedly being backed up. I want to see the files. I want proof. This should not be difficult IMO.

Hi Abner. leelai, a year and a half ago really gave the answer as above. The iPad does not deal in files, maybe like your computer. It deals with apps. So to see what was backed up you will need to go into the information and data within the app. Eg your contacts, your photos etc.

It wasn't worded exactly as you put it but I'll take that as an authoritative answer. Unfortunately, it's not an acceptable solution for me. It would be like using dropbox but not being able to see what was in your dropbox.

Apple is essentially saying "trust us that your data is really there but no you can't see it and verify that it actually is".
