Hi. Need help with jail break ipad 1 freezing....possible....have tried...

Hi, my name's Busyfoot98.

I purchased a used jail break ipad 1 from ebay...everything was working fine until I downloaded BlueReader(I have started using this) &/or MegaReader(I haven't used this one yet). I have read the threads and downloaded "Backgrounder". The person said to add "BlueReader" and then turn off "Backgrounder", but I can't find an "add" button to add "BlueReader".

I really enjoying reading and have finally figured out how to read ebooks on my ipad, but now it keeps freezing, even if I am not using the BlueReader.

I think my ISO version is 4.3.3....

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Have a look in Settings - General - About and then look for version, this will tell you what IOS you're on.

Since I don't have a jail broken iPad any more and two, haven't used this method in a while, I can't attempt to load Bluefire Reader and then Backgrounder. So, have a look at this thread: http://www.ipadforums.net/showthread.php?t=37602

I explained how to make the tweak Backgrounder work with Bluefire Reader. Yeah, the advice the is a bit old, but maybe it still works? Please, give it a shot and see... If it doesn't help/work, come on back and we'll try something else.
