Please note I've moved your post to a new thread (on its own). It was off-topic where you originally posted your question - a no-no here at this forum.
As far as your issue goes, could you explain a bit more? You can't hear sound at all or just in one app? Have you checked to make sure you haven't accidentally turned on the mute function?
