Help me please back light gone off after screen change

Hi all my ipad 2 back light won't come on I changed screen now stopped working.This happened befor and I just reset settings and it came back on.I tried to do the same this time and had no joy.Any ideas oh and forgot to say my power button has stopped working so carnt do a power& home button reset.
