Orange is probably my favorite color. I haven't surrounded myself with it, but in general, it represents happiness, passion, intensity life and joy to me :) This goes back to my earliest childhood memories, and just makes me feel GOOD :D image-990276195.webp GC: EyeC999 Level 83

So lovely, are these mostly from your garden? GC: EyeC999 Level 83

Thanks, Samantha! Red, orange, green, indigo are from my garden all photographed today. (The indigo is the inspiration that I drew that pic from on Draw Cast-remember?!!) The Cuties (clementines) I was going to draw but got hooked on Hay Day instead!! The grapes are from my Napa Valley trip in August. The "Violets in a Basket" is a watercolor I painted years ago.

So it looks like we should have done shades of one color of the rainbow. When I look back, you did say pick one color. Ooops! But there are some great pictures up there.

Sent from my IPad using IPF. GC wenchwhino level 55

That's the beauty of people... We are all colors of the rainbow and can interpret things as it pleases us!! :)

I thought I recognized the indigo! I have some "Cuties" here too...but they're mostly eaten :o. Your garden must be so pretty, makes me miss having a garden of my own :(. I used to love spending time playing in the dirt all day with John, chasing our (then 2) dogs away from newly planted flower beds...planting fig and pomegranate trees...sigh! You're very blessed and lucky, but I know you know that :)!

My garden truly is beautiful. I call it my Giving Garden. I pick some flowers and give them to others just to brighten their day. A quick story: I would pick my sweet peas and give them to the two ladies in my swim team office. What I didn't know at that time, is that one of the lady's little 9 yr old daughter was dying. The little girl founded Joy's Jars and NEGU (Never Ever Give Up!). She passed away. A few months later, I talked with the same lady in the office. I expressed my sympathy. She told me that the favorite flower of her daughter's was the sweet pea. During the last few months of her short life, she had fresh sweet peas every week. And I didn't even know. I could cry again.

I have a pomegranate tree!!! You and Anth need to come over and we can eat pomegranates next Fall!!! I love my garden! I like to sing and dance while I am tending it! Yes, I am the one truly blessed, Samantha. :)

What a touching story :) You never know how one little act can impact someone else! Thank you for sharing, I always love your stories :)
I remember when we had pomegranate trees, we'd wait till they were very ripe, then pick them, roll them in our hands, gently squashing them for ages, then stick a straw in and drink like it's a CapriSun! We thought nothing of it at the time....we were giving them away. Today I saw them in the store for .99 each! Yikes!
