We all use Gamecenter here. This is where we choose to chat and trade. I don't mean to speak for everybody however it seems to work for us. I choose not to use FB for games.

i use GAMECENTER for hay day too. however it is much easier to spaek on facebook and put the items for sale as i have so many lurker friends travelling to shops.

to chat there, we dont need to be friends.
