Id suggest just selling everything you make if u reaally want them..im lvl 49 and just bought 4 out of 5 of my smelters when i was approx lvl 44
It takes time and smelters get pricey.. After each one the price jumps up

Smelters are overrated. I'm happy with 2 and I'm not stressed out about finding explosives.

I agree. I only have two and they work all the time but I haven't yet figured out why I need anymore than that. I'm never short of bars and have even had enough extra to help people out.

I have 5 and thy are always running and im always short on something but everyone of my machines is running all day even when i sleep buuut i help alot on boats and keep my stall full...i dont know where im going with this...oh! Right no matter what you have or where you are in the game if you are an active player there will always be something thatbyou want or need, but working for it is what makes it fun, if you didnt itd be boring as heck

I forget what i was saving up for i think it was my jam maker or jeweler or both but i had 3 k coin and i sold everything i had all day for a day and a half including my materials and i made over 100k in my roadside stand. So it is possible
