Welcome!
I think most common is to either complete a boat or send it off immediately. You know how to send off? You only get the voucher for complete boats.
Boats with sugar etc are always sent off by me, for example.
And you can always shout to the forum for help, 2 rasp(?)berry jams, please. More effective than just ticking the help box on the boat.
Good luck on completing, I only have one more jam and other jams in queue...
