I lost power because of hurricane Ike for 8 days and I'm in Ohio! Lol! Hope you didn't have anymore damage than losing power. We did have a bit of damage, but nothing like some people had. Hurricanes are nasty. I'm glad Ohio typically doesn't have them.

I am lookin g for advice about whether I should try to fill this boat. It request 4 cherry jams, 16 syrups, and 8 hamburgers. I have 1 ham burger, every thing else I will need to make or buy. I don't have enough time for the cherry jams, ever if I did not already have two in queue. I am thinking of sending the boat away since I don't think I can get those items. Of yeah. A little short on cash, about 14 K right now. I am thinking I should just sell things in the stall for now, and send this boat off. What would you advise?

If you're not doing the captain achievment, i suggest that you send it off, try making money first, and then go for the xp to get the machine. It's less frustrating than you have enough xp for machine but no money to buy it and need to ask for help constantly or need to stalk the newspaper.

Totally agree with pinedemort! Wait till you have money and lots of stock before trying for the captain achievements

I have been in the same situation. I have sent off the boat many times when I am trying to raise money for a purchase. The jam does take so long to make and I have not found it for sale very often.

How much is the jam maker? I'm leveling up slowly, trying to save money

I've been real lucky with my boat order. They are all relatively easy to make and I could finish the captain quickly

Keep harvesting your crops, animals and produce.
Quickest one is of course by planting wheat.
Newspaper sometimes has it, but it's a in-demand item, you have to be real quick.
