Well I stock up and sell in my shop.

Hay every one, just wondering what's your game plan with hay day? I'm still deciding mine lol.

Do you stock up on products so you have them ready for boat orders?
Or do you sell what you make to get money faster and buy machinery?

You won't make money doing truck and boat orders. If you want xps, fill those orders. If you want money, don't touch the orders (or at least just a select few) and sell all your stuff in your shop. I made the mistake early on of leveling up way too quickly, and then all the orders wanted products made by machines that I didn't have and that I couldn't afford. I got some help here with products, but constantly asking for large numbers of products just be caused you haven't saved up for the machine isn't quite fair. So I went several days without filling orders and sold everything in my shop. The money adds up surprisingly fast. Good luck and happy farming!

I'd love a boat but I don't want one when I can't make stuff for it. My cake and clothes machines just opened yesterday and have been doing better in making money quicker. After the juicer I may get a boat

The best advice I've received on this forum was to add slots to the sugar and dairy products. That made a tremendous difference in production of other products.

At some point you have to utilize both strategies. I do not believe you can do both simultaneously.

This is very true. You have to alternate. My strategy was to find out what was available to buy at the next level and how much it cost. Then concentrate on earning cash not stars. Once you have the money you need switch to stars and level up you will be able to buy that new piece of machinery right away.

I don't completely agree with this. I am a millionaire on Hay Day (too bad this isn't real life! Lol!) and I sell mostly through truck and boat. I just sell odds and ends when I get extras through my store (mostly extra building, extra feed, and stuff I made too much of). I do not sell agressively through the store at all, I probably put stuff in several times a day, but my biggest concentration is on trucks and boat. One reason I think it has worked for me, is I make most of my own stuff and grow most of my own stuff. I do search the paper for bargains, but I try to do my own producing most of the time. Anyways, I wanted to bring that up to mention that there are lots of ways to play the game and they usually all work out in the end.
