The Greg not buying stuff anymore issue is annoying. I am producing certain items because I count on the system to buy them from me so I can make money.

He does buy stuff from you still... I've had him come within the last 3 days twice, i never had much use of him coming before the update, everything would sell, but now he's been round.

He just doesn't seem to come over as often.... He does have thousands of farms to visit xx

My in demand products still don't stay at my shop long(sugar, cheese, cream)but I don't new max price them. The materials, explosives, and utility tools sell regardless of price.

A tip for the advanced players:
Know to whom you're selling. I have friended a lot of new players. They cannot buy the more advanced products but they'll buy the heck out of the initial products, especially crops. Visit the farms of purchasing friends to get an idea of where they are and what they may be interested in purchasing then you can sell accordingly.

(the above tip only applies if you give a crap which I believe most won't lol)

As they're still not fixing the side-scrolling problem either in Roadside Stall or list of friends, and bcoz I no longer could find open mystery boxes in neighborhood farm as often as before, I kinda stopped visiting my neighbors. Well, another factor is that I spend less time in the game than before update.. and bcoz my main interest now is to sell, not to buy things.

But I think I'll try to know my neighbors a lil bit more ^^

By spending 1 diamond you can. Just tap that area near the countdown timer to activate it. I do it accidentally occasionally. Otherwise have to wait for a free one every 30 minutes.

First cake

I finally joined after reading all 142 pages of this thread lol. I'm at the level now where you can buy the cake oven, but haven't saved enough yet. All my orders and walk up customers are asking for cakes, but I haven't found any in newspapers or any other farms. Is no one selling them?

They are probably rolling it out or testing it. Iphone first then ipad. Today is first time I'm seeing game ad in newspaper (I'm on ipad). In color too! But everything else still black and white. Some people have seen this for a while now.

I sell them occasionally as well, but usually let my friends and followers get them before I place an ad for the more common items. Some people will have the cakes in the stall but place ads for common items anyway, so it is a matter of searching diligently through many stalls to find. And they sell out real fast too so if you happen to see in paper, make a mad dash for that farm!

I've found that if I visit the newspaper on the hour there seems to be... Well more than eggs. I think it's different for everyone as other players get the better items every ten mins, just keep hitting the paper till you find what times are best for you. When you hit the jackpot- you'll know. Just make sure you have space in your barn as I got stuck a few times today, had almost the whole paper filled with cakes, and had three spaces, and could have scored a barn full of cakes. Hope this helps.
