Right now, the players having fun are the ones who don't know what is ahead for them in the game. Soon enough they'll hit the same wall as the rest of us. There has to be a middle ground where everything is not free, but at least attainable somehow. I'm not asking for 100 boxes a day, but how about more than the 2 I get now?

Exactly! If we were afforded like 10 boxes per day, five of which opened with materials, then I'd be happy. Those who talk about it being a time game...of course it is. I play Dragonvale..do you know how LONG it takes to breed those dragons? Yet, we have a decent way of accumulating gems every week to help aide us. I have still spent over $100 on this game in a years time on gems. As long as it feels attainable, people will keep playing. At this rate, they have made it practically impossible to play Hay Day without spending money on a regular basis.

I'll say it again, I'm not expecting the boxes back with the glitch intact. Just give us more boxes. I'm willing to buy diamonds if I must, but the materials and tools need to be more attainable.

I find first thing in the morning when I open it, I go thru all my friends farms I can open a lot of boxes especially if you open one and then go back and forth to it, it keeps opening! I have gotten so many building supplies and points from the same farms! The rest of the day not so lucky! The trick is to go back and forth to the ones that open. But I find it only happens first time I open my game first thing in the morning. Hope it helps you!

Mystery box question...

I open a lot of mystery boxes... But in the last 4 days, I have found no diamonds in any of them. I have probably opened at least 200 boxes just today, and no diamonds. Until 4 days ago, I was averaging probably about 20 diamonds or more a day from the boxes. Sometimes I would get many more, but then 4 days ago, none, not a one. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this happening or if anyone else has been getting diamonds from the boxes. At first, I thought it was just an off day, but after 4 days, I am concerned that they have made the diamonds much harder to get, or is it just bad luck for me...

I have noticed the same thing, I find since this has happened the game just doesn't hold the same appeal for me, dear developers please fix this issue

Anyone figured out how to restart game?
How do I re install game with new appleID , it automatically comes up with my old one. Even if I chose to create or keep n account when game reopens the original account logs in. Kids want to play and can only access my game. i'm willing to lose everything and restart from level 1.

So like, i hav no idea what my family did, but the same game is loaded on 2 seperate ipads. When we start up, only one ipad will connect to the game because both ipads are using the same data. My mother wants to start the game as a new game, and my uncle wants the his saved game on his ipad only. I'm the son, and like, they are gonna keep bothering me to fix this until I do. We've tried making a new account on game center, but nothing's changed. So then, whats the solution to this?

Did you figure it out? I have tried, new game Id, new itunes ID, uninstalled everything...no joy.

Me too... My problem with this is that I've only been playing this app a little over a week and that's how the game was when I started.. Boxes were plentiful especially on my friended farms and I got a wide range of items... Now the proverbial rug has been pulled out from under me...

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to get anything I need because everyone else is also trying... What's more frustrating is that now the newspaper has such a lag in service for me that I click on a farm because of an item in the paper and I get the "loading... Loading...loading" crap message and then when it connects of course the item is gone!

I'm days from deleting the app.. Not that anyone really cares.. But it's reasons like this that really are taking the fun out of what a week ago was a fun distraction from my daily grind.

This is a free app... My husband would confiscate my credit cards if I ever paid money for "in game currency" where I get nothing in return... but I probably would have paid a little to download it originally with iTunes credit just to have it revert back to the "glitchy version" I walked into when I started.

One could argue that you get nothing in return for going on vacations except a bigger debt than you started out with, but millions of people still go on them. The reasons for spending on a game are similar; to have fun, de-stress, to enjoy your free time, etc. Tell hubby it is cheaper than an excursion... Unless he feels like taking you on a vacation sometime soon.

Paying for a game vs paying for in game currency in a free game are basically the same. Money is still being spent and going to the same source. At least when you do spend money, it is for a good cause... Paying for game development on a game you enjoy playing.

If I have to pay it is not exactly "free time" is it? .

If I hadn't walked into the glitch in progress then I might have more patience for the game... However I can't unring that bell. I don't consider myself to having been one to take advantage of it because I didn't know any different .. Know what I mean? I only seeked out the forum here when I noticed the boxes were gone.

SAME hear I stopped getting them a few days ago. I check 3 times a day but I maybe get 2 mystery boxes out of every1. Need them to upgrade my barn.

Im updating too! But it says the update is for bugs...so doubt there will be anything new

Hey, I received a response from heyday...below is my email with their response :

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and playing Hay Day! Unfortunately, we found a bug related to the mystery boxes, which enabled some players to get an unlimited amount of supplies, diamonds and coins. Now that we've fixed this bug, there are fewer mystery boxes on farms you're visiting. However, we will increase the amount of mystery boxes and bring it to the level we originally intended. I'm sorry for your frustration, but I hope this helps. Have a great day!

I loved this game, told everyone I know about it and played it all day long. Now that the boxes are practically non existent, the fun is gone for me. On the iPad forums, many, many people are saying the same thing.

Very bad decision to change up the game so drastically. I've spent $100s of dollars on games like Dragonvale and would have spent equally on this game but now I don't find any fun in the game at all.

Epic fail. You guys are losing revenue, not gaining by making the changes.
