I have the same dilemma as my new FB account is completely stuffing everything up with renewing the bushes and trees, HayDay can't accept my new FB account, it keeps wanting to go to my old one, which I've blocked HayDay from because DESPITE my visible to 'only me' settings I was HORRIFIED to find on my father's FB account hundreds of posts by me via HayDay. I went through and double checked my settings, yes, I'd chosen the most private of all, and tested it by reviving a bush and voila! Another post by me via HayDay on his wall.
To be honest, I just didn't want my parents knowing how long I spend on this.....I do have other responsibilities!
So it seems that because I changed the FB account HayDay can't revive anything for me, there's always a FB 'error'. Yet my friends are not experiencing the same problem at their end.
I would rather chop down bushes and trees than have to start all over again (level 39) but the developers suggested:
1. Exit the game by pressing your home button
2. Locate the Hay Day application, and tap & hold on it until it starts to wiggle
3. In the upper left corner of the Hay Day icon, you should see a X marked small icon
4. Tap on the icon, and agree to delete the app & all data
5. Open App Store and download Hay Day again
6. Locate both your Facebook and Game Center applications, and log out from both of them on your device.
7. Restart the game, open up your friends list, connect to Facebook (or Game Center) and see if it helps.
I can't even seem to set up an additional GC account to set up a new HayDay farm as an experiment to delete it; it asks me the same things over and over again, never progressing any further than year of birth.
Does anyone know if I will lose all my hard earned work (level 31) if I do this?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the intention of losing my data and starting over but no success. Hay Day support would have to reset for you. I've even completed a clean install on a different device without success. Without Hay Day support, you'd have to use a different Apple ID to start a farm from scratch. Bottom line being you're safe to do this without losing your progress.
