Hay Day Discussion and Game Help Thread (NO FRIEND REQUESTS)

Great question!

I have the same dilemma as my new FB account is completely stuffing everything up with renewing the bushes and trees, HayDay can't accept my new FB account, it keeps wanting to go to my old one, which I've blocked HayDay from because DESPITE my visible to 'only me' settings I was HORRIFIED to find on my father's FB account hundreds of posts by me via HayDay. I went through and double checked my settings, yes, I'd chosen the most private of all, and tested it by reviving a bush and voila! Another post by me via HayDay on his wall.
To be honest, I just didn't want my parents knowing how long I spend on this.....I do have other responsibilities!
So it seems that because I changed the FB account HayDay can't revive anything for me, there's always a FB 'error'. Yet my friends are not experiencing the same problem at their end.

I would rather chop down bushes and trees than have to start all over again (level 39) but the developers suggested:

1. Exit the game by pressing your home button
2. Locate the Hay Day application, and tap & hold on it until it starts to wiggle
3. In the upper left corner of the Hay Day icon, you should see a X marked small icon
4. Tap on the icon, and agree to delete the app & all data
5. Open App Store and download Hay Day again
6. Locate both your Facebook and Game Center applications, and log out from both of them on your device.
7. Restart the game, open up your friends list, connect to Facebook (or Game Center) and see if it helps.

I can't even seem to set up an additional GC account to set up a new HayDay farm as an experiment to delete it; it asks me the same things over and over again, never progressing any further than year of birth.

Does anyone know if I will lose all my hard earned work (level 31) if I do this?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the intention of losing my data and starting over but no success. Hay Day support would have to reset for you. I've even completed a clean install on a different device without success. Without Hay Day support, you'd have to use a different Apple ID to start a farm from scratch. Bottom line being you're safe to do this without losing your progress.

Your are absolutely right! Tried it and it didn't work! Soooooooo frustrating!

Ok, so I am lvl 39 and with this level there were no new things to do. So, this is it, then? No point in playing any more? No new surprises?

Thanks for letting us know, Nymne :)
Now I know what to "anticipate"...
I heard that someone has spotted someone else in Level 50, though --

**am in level 29 and pondering whether there's any new fun things to strive for, besides the $100k Ultimate Jam Maker...

I'm starting to feel that way at level 35. I have all the production equipment and all the animals I want at this time. I figure I am going to slow down and work on it more casually for awhile and hope when they come out with a new stuff in the next update. Right now I am concentrating more on updating the look of my farm.

Low-end, but effective, money-making scheme

For the earlier posters, way upthread, asking for ways to make money, I have a suggestion. Pay attention to how much coin the "city folks" offer for basics like eggs and milk. My folks offer approximately 10 coin per egg and about 15 per milk. So, if I can buy those items in the roadside stand for significantly less than the "city" prices, I do just that and wait for the passers-by to ask for those items. Of note, I generally do not put eggs or milk in my roadside stand. As you know, there is little future (only Greg buying, or sometimes me if your price is cheap enough) in posting ads for eggs. Hope this helps someone. The"city" people tend to request items that you have in quantity, not always but generally.

Happy farming y'all!

Why can I have only 6 friends on game? 7 including Greg. Isn't that too few? When I try to add a new more friend, it says i have all slots in use. Help!

I think you've been bookmarking farms to follow instead of adding them through FB/ GC. Otherwise there shouldn't be a limit. You can tell whether it's a friend or a Bookmarked farm by the color. The farms you're following will have a blue border around their avatar.

Can someone tell me if there exists a limit to storage in silo and in the barn? I keep upgrading but there is always another one upgrade to make!

Thanks Holidae for your answer. Can anyone tell me how often does a free-treasure appears on the same farm? For example, if I find one free-treasure on Greg's farm, how long will it take to have one more on it?
