Hay Day Discussion and Game Help Thread (NO FRIEND REQUESTS)

The truck orders also are asking for cheap. I usually delete the truck orders when they ask for things rare and expensive like apples, cakes etc.
Another thing i follow for more cash:- do not be tempted to fulfill truck orders as soon as you have the supplies ready. prefer the road side shop more.
These actually worked for me.

I must be dumb. I have my Hay Day game showing up on Game Center, but when I go to my friends it just says I have no friends. I see no place to add friends. Someone please help me to figure out how to add friends. I'm on level 33 and have a great farm with great products for sale. just dense in the acquiring friends aspect.

Thanks!

Advice requested from fellow HayDayers...

I am at level 26 and have purchased one smelter.
I just opened my dock yesterday which should be fully repaired and open for business in another twelve hours.

Should I open the mine next or buy the juicer? What do u suggest?

If I had asked first I hope someone would have told me juicer first, my opinion ...the mine is waste of money. The ore doesn't sell well, and then the smelter is costly, and takes 12 to 24 hours for one bar to complete..... Juicer you plant trees and shrubs, collect fruit, mask friends for help when needed, then collect buy new ones, the profits from selling the fruit and juices way out benefit whet mine and smelter offer.but that is just my opinion

On the bottom, tap the far right area labeled Requests. Then tap the add friends ribbon. A window will pop up for you to enter gamecenter ids or email. Then you wait for someone to accept. If you do not already know, there is a separate thread full of people who are also looking for friends. Feel free to add me, I can be found on that thread or if you check my profile you can also find my information, I think.

Mining

Hello everyone

I have read countless pages of this thread but couldn't really find what I was looking for.

So after a long time of more the less buy & resell activity I have accumulated another 26k gold and am wondering whether I should invest it into opening the mine (already got the boat) or keep saving for the next machine which will probabşy be the jam maker, and I saw somewhere here that it costs almost 100k (!!).

Ores arent of much value to me at the moment. I bought ne smelter and am producing silver gold and platinum bars (at quite a slow pace :).

QUESTION: For those who have oepened the mine, are the 26k worth it in terms of diamonds? I read somewhere here that someone here got 14 diamonds so far from the mine, which is nice, but how much time / gold / dynamite were invested for that? If it will take my 1000 TNTs to get 5 diamonds I would rather keep my 2k gold and wait till I get diamonds from treasure boxes.

Thanks in advance.

I believe it was once mentioned someone felt like they got a diamond for every 10 attempts and I would have to say I feel it is about the same for me. Personally it isn't worth it to me to buy the mine for the sole purpose of getting diamonds only because you will be stuck with a ton of ores until it sells off either slowly through people visiting your stall or Greg (which takes around 24 hrs or so). I once had a ton of ores and was willing to sell it to the virtual visitors at a lower amount, but they never asked for it and would rather not have a bunch of ores hanging around tying up my stall and barn again. If you don't mind having a stall full of ores and don't mind waiting for it to sell off, then sure, get the mine for diamonds. As you already know, you won't be smelting them all quickly enough.

I like the mine as a supplement to mystery boxes because the boxes give 5 and if I need 1 more, I can blast the mine until 1 pops out. So I guess in summary it is up to you. Just be prepared to slowly get rid of ore if you are going to be blasting away to your heart's content in search of diamonds. :)

For reference:
1 dynamite = 2 ores
1 TNT = 3 ores
1 shovel = 4 ores
With the occasional 1 diamond

Thanks for the quick reply. Thats the problem, it doesn't show a request tab, just Me, Friends, Games at the bottom.

Check your device restrictions. Flip adding friends to on. That will make the tab appear.

Settings > General > Restrictions > Game Center - Adding friends [on]

If I uninstall my game and reinstall will I lose everything? My game won't load, keeps crashing!

Great question!

I have the same dilemma as my new FB account is completely stuffing everything up with renewing the bushes and trees, HayDay can't accept my new FB account, it keeps wanting to go to my old one, which I've blocked HayDay from because DESPITE my visible to 'only me' settings I was HORRIFIED to find on my father's FB account hundreds of posts by me via HayDay. I went through and double checked my settings, yes, I'd chosen the most private of all, and tested it by reviving a bush and voila! Another post by me via HayDay on his wall.
To be honest, I just didn't want my parents knowing how long I spend on this.....I do have other responsibilities!
So it seems that because I changed the FB account HayDay can't revive anything for me, there's always a FB 'error'. Yet my friends are not experiencing the same problem at their end.

I would rather chop down bushes and trees than have to start all over again (level 39) but the developers suggested:

1. Exit the game by pressing your home button
2. Locate the Hay Day application, and tap & hold on it until it starts to wiggle
3. In the upper left corner of the Hay Day icon, you should see a X marked small icon
4. Tap on the icon, and agree to delete the app & all data
5. Open App Store and download Hay Day again
6. Locate both your Facebook and Game Center applications, and log out from both of them on your device.
7. Restart the game, open up your friends list, connect to Facebook (or Game Center) and see if it helps.

I can't even seem to set up an additional GC account to set up a new HayDay farm as an experiment to delete it; it asks me the same things over and over again, never progressing any further than year of birth.

Does anyone know if I will lose all my hard earned work (level 31) if I do this?
