I recalled able to send the boat off early twice. It doesn't always let you sent off early though.

As @mickymaid has say, you can only cast it off empty. Once you start to load, even just 1 box, you must wait until the timer done.

It's when you're selling something to another player here.
For example, you want to buy a cake from me. I'll put up 1 wheat for $1 at the most right corner. You buy the wheat and it'll let me know that you're there and waiting. So I'll put up the real thing (the cake) for you to buy.
