Neighbourhoods Is anyone using these yet? My house just finished and I created a neighbourhood. I thought we would be able to chat with others, but looks like they have to be a part if the same neighbourhood to do so. And if you create your own neighbourhood, you can't join any others And unless you know what a friend named their neighbourhood in order to search and join, you have to be invited by them to join I did try inviting a few of you who help often, just to see how it works. Anyone have any thoughts in the neighbourhoods? Are they what you thought they'd be? Do you like this new feature? Or do you find it limiting? GC ID: tanaco73 HayDay level 52

Have you yet learned if there's a limit on how many neighborhoods you can join? Like if I join yours, could I still join, say Bobbie L's and my husbands? I'm still building so don't know if more info is available once your neighborhood is started.

You can only be in one neighbourhood. So if you create your own, you can't join anyone else's. I was hoping that you could also just tap on the house and join that way, but you need to know the name of the neighbourhood to join. You can change the settings of your own neighbourhood to "invite only" or " ask to join" or "anyone can join". I was also hoping that you could tap on the house to send PM's, but you vpcan only chat if you are in the same neighbourhood. And it looks like there is a limit of 20 members in the neighbourhood.

Haha, did you know that if you tap on your ponds, that a whole bunch of frogs will appear? Was just playing around and stumbled on his. Put in a pond yesterday and was hoping to see a lot more frogs than I was, and now I have tons!

Huh, that must be why I have more, I tap on it to see how many I have n have twice the amount as my husband. Wonder if you tap too many times if they will go away?

That sucks. So if everyone starts their own neighborhood then there'll be a bunch of one person neighborhoods cuz you can't join another? Think they need to rethink that one. Now wishing I would have waited on building mine

You might have to have the house to be a part if any neighbourhood, but I'm not sure. So having the house might still be a good thing.... But yes, I agree, wasn't thought out very well

Crazy. They say you can leave a hood to join another but found anything yet if you can leave your own hood.

The other potential issue I see is in regards to this forum. If active iPF members all join 'hoods and focus on that with trades and such, this forum could proportionally lose it's active members.

We'll have to wait n see what happens.

Yes, you can leave your own 'hood. Not sure what happens to the others members in that 'hood though.
And I agree about the trading and helping. I hope this forum doesn't get any quieter I've come to really like the members here

That's good to know. Least then you can join another if you want. Yea, me too

I'm assuming you have to have the house built before you can search for 'hoods since I don't see where I can look for one.
