Yes, he appears all the time. What I mean is he is in the game at the same time, no matter where in the world you are. The servers push him to the game at the same time, I doubt they are pushing at various times depending on location. i.e. He appears in everyone's game because it's a server/game wide push. However, the intervals for the push have not yet been determined.

But since he gives nothing good after the first item - the spooky coffin - it's not really desperate for me to get him. However, I like to let people know if I see him so they can have a chance too.

Umm i dont know cuz he appeared for me at two different timings :O

You're right.. I got the coffin first n then one diamond.. Not very impressive i reckon.. But its nice of u to keep us updated.. Its jus a lil bit of fun to poke him n c whats in store for us

Do u know how i can increase the number of diamonds i have?.. N whats the best way to spend them?..

Opening chests you find on farms can give you diamonds. I visit A LOT of farms, both to help people and to find chests. I don't spend diamonds to open them though.
You often get diamonds from the mine. I've found that shovels most often give diamonds, followed by dynamite and then TNT.
Everytime Supercell closes the game for maintenance you get 2 or 3 diamonds. They do this at least once a week. Not a lot but still, free diamonds.
Sometimes they will push a sale to your device. Usually it's the 1500 diamond chest with a 20% discount. Worth it if you need a lot of diamonds but you will end up losing them because of accidental clicking.

I spend my diamonds on opening more slots in my production buildings - I have everything at full slot now, except for the net maker and the lure maker because they are ridiculously expensive to open fully. I have them open to 5 slots each which is more than enough, because the lure and net production time is so long.

I sometimes rent Tom if I want to stock up on things. I will usually just take him for a day. It's more expensive but I only am committing to 24 hours of use. If I take him longer real life gets in the way and I end up not using him as much as I would if I intensively focus on him for a day. I will usually use him to stock up on shovels for half his rental time and then jams for the other half. I can usually make back the 15 diamonds from shovelling the mine this way.

Occasionally I've used them to buy decorations but very, very rarely, and nothing at all this update. 2 diamonds for one fence post is lunacy.

I have NEVER used a diamond to speed anything (other than accidentally). It's way too expensive and totally not worth it.

Spendin diamonds accidentally is the worst..
Has happened to me several times.. Stings!..
Right now ive jus got about 23 of them.. Will use them wisely.. Mostly to expand my slots which are still basic..

Also, ur tom tip is useful.. My barn has limited capacity so i rarely stock up n sell everythin to earn more coins!..
Ive used tom jus once in the beginning n he was rather cute hehe but after what u explained i guess ill b hirin him as soon as my barn expands to a decent limit

That is good to know, thanks. For some reason I had assumed he was like the wheel of fortune, one go per day and hadn't really bothered to keep an eye out for him after finding him once. Will be a little more ghost alert!
