Random thought about the fish size:
Do you think it matters how often the fish can "expand" the closing circle before being caught?
Meaning if you can keep the fish centered all the time, you get a bigger one? I doubt it is true, becaue I think I caught some easy fish in first try and didn't catch a gold sized fish so far.

As said, just a random thought, feel free to discard or confirm.

Congrats on all your gold sized fish, Isabella!
The notes I took are only semi relieable, because at first I didn't pay attention to the circle size...

Thanks, isabellatissa, for completing my boat! I'm trying to rush through completing boats to get more vouchers, and had a huge queue in my cake oven.

Thanks! Let us know if u find any gold sized fish too ok!

I think that doesn't have anything to do with the dish size, but I think the more active the fish is (the more struggle in escaping, thus the more times the closing circle expanded), the heavier the fish is. Let's say we're aiming for the same small inner circle but the fishes' struggles are different, one is lazy and one is active; I think the active one is the heavier..

Note: This is unconfirmed, I will try to pay attention to the fishes' activity as well from now on.

I don't know if someone ever mentioned this before, but I do think that the terrain in the background of the pictures in the scrapbook isn't really necessary to catch a certain type, as long as the type of area is the same.

Shallow water fishing area: the dock & the spot in which Angus is facing right to.
Reed fishing area: the waterfall & the water lily spot
Rocky area: the far left corner & the stream spot
Deep water fishing area: shipwreck & the spot left to it (darker water color compared to the others)

e.g.: the background terrain of Bitterling in scrapbook (purple lure, page 6, small circle, confirmed) is the shipwreck spot. But I believe we can also catch it on the spot left to shipwreck for being a deep water fishing area as well. (unconfirmed) :p

Edit: better with pictures! :D

Yep, this is according to what I noticed and I think someone mentioned it here, too. But better mentioning it twice.
I am the second deep water spot away from having access to all areas, but since it is the same area as the spot next to it, I won't hurry here.

Current fish count: 64
Total weight: 189
Different fish: 19

Vouchers left:
Green: 116
Blue: 88
Purple: 66
Gold: 26

Argh, I already mentioned the 100+ wells I bought a while back... How expensive is one well, two green and one blue voucher (I can't check myself since I have them stored -> no pricetag visible)?

2 green & 1 blue it is, FF! :D

Don't worry, you won't run out of green/blue voucher.. We get them almost all the freakin time!

Fish count: 56
Total weight: 179
Different fish: 26 out of 30!

Pika is the closest to revealing all the pics so far! (27/30)

Wow, you have a great ratio of caught fish to different fish!
And I think in the long run, we will run out of vouchers. We could produce maybe 20 lures using blue/green vouchers and easily use them for fishing per day. And I don't see how I can generate so many of them.
So the 300+ vouchers would provide a nice buffer, but I am not mad. I am glad I saved the golden ones and didn't buy a waterfall from them. I bought the wells long before the update was announced and only had in mind they might introduce new pets.

Hey hey!! I am desperate for 7 planks and 13 screws!!! I have nails and wood panels to trade. Pm me!

Bronze yellow bass:
Blue lure, small circle, rocky fishing area 2 (far corner left)
Blue lure, small circle, shallow water 2 (the one angus facing right to), lazy
Blue lure, small circle, shallow water 1 (dock), lazy

This is confirming "terrain isn't necessary but the type of area" theory right.
... Someone should come up with an easier name for the theory.

Edit:
Tried to catch the second gold sized rainbow fish, using the method mentioned earlier (green lure, med circle, rocky area 2 far corner left) :
no success! Got bronze sized instead. The fish was lazy tho.
Note: (green lure, small circle, rocky area 2 far corner left) = bronze Rudd

I'm more convinced that the movement of the fish plays a part too!

So you can catch a fish not only in both spots of the same type ("shallow" for example), but also in completely different places?
Sounds like it can be hard to find a specific fish, when each fish has more than one surrounding.

every time I buy something from someone's roadside stand my game shuts down UGH I don't always get what I just bought but I always lose the money that I paid for it! when are they going to fix that. it is happening more and more this week>> again UGH
