I used blue lure and found smallest circle to get this Rainbow Smelt

For purple lure, I think that time I just found medium circle, because I haven't notice there are any different size of circles, and got Arctic Charr

Even Spotted Sunfish I got from green lures.

Supercell phoned my house today!!!! I'd emailed them about a problem with not being able to delete fences about a week ago and didn't hear anything back. My boyfriend then got the call today when I was at work. He doesn't go on hayday and he'd thought the man on the phone was talking about the fences in our garden! Lol. I didn't even give them my home number which is weird :/

I know right i started to believe that its random. First i thought the biggest lure gonna give biggest fish. But it didnt work with rudd, you caught bigger rudd using green lure.
And then i caught silver fall fish far easier ( caught in the first attempt) than bronze fall fish( i got small circle and i lost it 3 times before i caught it)

Here's my notes of gold size fishes so far, see if it helps

Gold rainbow fish :
Green lure, medium circle, rocky fishing area (far corner left)

Gold rainbow smelt:
Blue lure, small circle, reed fishing area (waterfall)

Gold yellow bass:
Blue lure, small circle, deep water fishing area (shipwreck)


And here's the result of my using gold lures:

Silver greater red horse:
Gold lure, small circle, deep water fishing area (left to the shipwreck)

Bronze greater red horse:
Gold lure, small circle, reed fishing area (waterfall)

Random thought about the fish size:
Do you think it matters how often the fish can "expand" the closing circle before being caught?
Meaning if you can keep the fish centered all the time, you get a bigger one? I doubt it is true, becaue I think I caught some easy fish in first try and didn't catch a gold sized fish so far.

As said, just a random thought, feel free to discard or confirm.

I think that doesn't have anything to do with the dish size, but I think the more active the fish is (the more struggle in escaping, thus the more times the closing circle expanded), the heavier the fish is. Let's say we're aiming for the same small inner circle but the fishes' struggles are different, one is lazy and one is active; I think the active one is the heavier..

Note: This is unconfirmed, I will try to pay attention to the fishes' activity as well from now on.
