Sorry, noob question..
How do you guys make lots of money? I'm currently on level 19 with $2300.
I'm trying to save up to get the loom machine and the second feed mil.
I try to be ruthless and set prices at their maximum, but nobody buys them.
I read here that Greg actually buys your unsold merchandise. How often does he do that?

EDIT: Also, the dock repair which cost $16,000! How am I going to afford that. Lol.

It's not very often that Greg buys stuff from your shop, so I wouldn't waste precious space with overpriced items. That being said, if you want to make money, stop doing truck orders and wait on the dock for awhile. I'm not by any means the richest player, but at level 46 I have about 400,000 coins. I know other players just a few levels ahead of me that have over a million coins. Mass produce goods that will sell at maximum price in a hot second - sugar, butter, cheese, juices and jams (when you have those machines), butter popcorn, pies, etc. I would recommend avoiding eggs and bacon, as those tend to sit in the shop a long time at full price. So keep your shop full, and ignore the truck until you're comfortable with your hay day bank account,

Ignoring truck orders and selling everything in your shop. What are you putting in there that isn't selling? Most things that are easy to make sell pretty quickly because not many go up. Sugars, dairy products and animal feeds all get snapped up full price. I've also found that cookies and pancakes do too. Stuff like hamburgers, bread, cornbread, popcorn and crops I reduce the price on so they actually sell. I never really bothered with bacon and eggs and eggs in the shop unless I ended up with way too many. The newspaper is flooded with them, but a lot of people put them up for Greg. I think he comes after something is up for two days.

Now this stuff doesn't sell for a lot of money but it adds up quickly. When I was saving up money the only things I would send on the truck or with walk up customers were crops and eggs. That way you are making more money and not leveling and unlocking more machines you can't afford.

You guys think it's worth doing the truck deliveries that take metal bars for the tickets? I've been stockpiling my bars in anticipation of the jewelry machine, since they take forever to make.

No no no. We always rip every bar order off. Never filled one before, have five smelters going 24/7 and I still can't keep up.
