My guess is that in the early Days there were lots of bugs in the game... Letting people upgrade barns and silo very quickly... And so Much more like the box trick. All gone now.

Wrong, the tool box bug only helped me a lil as I got 20 duct tape from it. 20 diamonds and a few coins!!! I lost more than that with their bugs after updates as in things disappearing from my barn and lots of down time after hiring Tom. The only advantage to us earlier players( I started this game a few days after it came out) is that there was not as much equipment to buy, there was no mine or boat dock. I guess less stress, however that being said, us earlier players paid more for a few machines(sometimes $30,000 more) and we didn't get 10 strawberries to start off with, we had to spend 10 diamonds apiece for them( yes you heard right) or wait for them come up for sale. Just saying that we didn't have it any easier.

I just noticed mastery on animal food goes to speed beginning with the first star. Has it been this way from the beginning? Thought the stated something about +coins and +xp and was wondering about the use of it.

Used to have about 50 each of dairies but they are all down to 20-25 now.
Around 25-30 of jams and juices almost.
Cakes mixed as well as ice creams but most of them around 20.
Over 30 potato breaddies because I love those

Yep, that's why I considered the first two stars useless. Now I am surprised it is speed from the first star on. Thought it was different directly after the update. Well, not too important.

Yep, I didn't realize it till earlier when I noticed it was only 19 minutes for pig feed!!!!

Yes they always ask me for sugars and explosives!! ( forgot to say 60+ of all)
It's so annoying and this morning I fell into the trap

My barn is 2300. There are people with bigger barn

I thought I would stop at 2000 whole nice number but it didn't happen
Maybe 2500 but getting almost 70 pieces of all is heroic and absurd at the same time.

Good gosh! I don't think I can cope with gathering more than 50 stuff!!

I think I will stop at 1500...
I can barely keep up with jam making although lately I find (and buy) more in paper.
But I am now at that comfort level of having enough coins (in case another machine shows up) and big enough barn to be able to help others out, my level is good too, and so I've been filling more crates. as long as I don't try to upgrade, I have enough space

I've been giving all mine to my son, once I get him to 1000 then I'll start on mine again.

Started playing around the end of August. I am lv 61 now but got most of my machines only after level 40.
At the beginning I was thinking I could go on without cake and pie ovens and was selling crops to make money lol

I opened up my mine and dock before anything else and that was not very smart either.
At some point I was tired of not having any room in my barn that I decided to prioritize barn expansion. I joined this forum when I was around lv 45 I believe and my barn was 900+ already. Of course I was poor because I spent lots of money to buy materials and had never traded before.
Also I am very slow in terms of leveling up since I have very few animals and do not run truck orders constantly.
I like to produce, produce, produce and hoard
