Can anyone help me with this? My iPad died, I got it replaced, logged back in with my Apple ID, including into Game Center, re-installed all my apps, including Hay Day, and found that it's starting me back at level 1. I was at level 64 or 65! Yikes! How do I get my game back?

Hopefully you did a recent backup of your iPad. Restoring it from the backup rather than as a new iPad should put you back in the game right where you were when the backup was made.

Backups are important for you guys who play these games where the game data is held on your iPad. The old advice for all computer systems still holds true. Never, EVER, have anything that is important to you in just one place. Back it up.

You basically refresh your ipad doing this. You press the home button and off button simultaneously for 12 seconds.

iPads have a choice of automatic backups when you connect with WiFi, and you can backup your ipad to iCloud or your computer. This saves everything so you don't lose it

I wouldn't trust iCloud with the amount of time and effort you guys put into your game. A local backup is the safest, IMO.

My iPad was always set to back-up automatically, so shouldn't my game be saved? Somewhere?? I never backed up to a PC...does that make a difference? Sorry, tech dummy here!
