I have 5 nails, 6 screws, 2 panels, 7 stakes and 1 mallet. Does anyone need any before I put them on sale?

Do you find that after you get an unlocked one you can't find another one locked or unlocked for a bit? This is the case with me, and I like keeping that box that never goes away on my farm because I can go back to it and attempt to open it right after finding an unlocked box and it makes the other ones come back. Does that make sense at all?

yes when you hit an unlocked one it's like a "counter" restarts and you can't find some until after a couple of attempts (same happens when you tap the red cross).
sometimes if you return to your farm you see your box has changed location and it can be that it is unlocked. I would also think its content would change but nothing to prove it.
However when I make my own box sink, I can still find other boxes in other farms, not sure if that happens to you too.

It seems to be more efficient to try boxes from the paper. I once got through all my friends and couldn't unlock. In the paper it is usually around 10, but hardly more than twenty.
Or you could just check your friends with lower levels, but as said, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I do it with my followers. That way I alsocheck their shops and usually find some materials too

Once I was really lucky with the boxes, for straight few days I got like 30 something diamonds from them. I was able to hire Tom for 2 days because of that. Now I hardly get any unlocked one
