Trying to farm the equipment and I am filling my barn and silo with items I can't get rid of as quickly and get stuck with full brn and silo and I have to wait for someone to buy before I can do my next move....

Looks like the best way is to just sell nd forget of trading?

I had trades where items selling higher example mallet is to be sold at the same rate as the example nail... 280 -280. Which some people consider 1:1...

I guess that's when talking and finializing gets into play...

Don't be embarrassed, we were all new at some point. It's just on this thread, it's more about helping than what you can get out of it! That being said, I've traded planks(because before my son started playing I had alot) for cheese 1:1 because I had planks and I needed cheese. Bottom line, if your not comfortable with a trade, don't make it!

Trading is not always based on price. Most of the time it's the demand of both parties, also it depends on how well you know the other person. I have traded full price, default price and even only 1 coin so what seems fair to you may not be fair for the others. Since you are at level 33 only, my suggestion is sell your expansion materials full price, save the money to buy machine, become an independent farmer and once you have extra money, you can always buy whatever you want or just harvest and sell your crops cheap to obtain materials.

My farm is in bad shape compared to others...

I don't have mine, or smelter, juicer, ice cream maker, and that's over I believe 100 k.... I only have 3 grand....

You don't need the mine/smelter right away. But the other machines make good stuff. This is a waiting game. You can't rush things or you'll end up broke and not accomplishing anything.
