two days ago, I was trolling for cream (pointless desperation) for the boat and saw someone selling four stacks of strawberries! I thought they were nuts; little did I know our CGI neighbors were fruitbats!

Oh, and by the way, THANK YOU for sharing this pearl of wisdom with the world:

my strategy is still fill the boat as fast as I can, and let it sit, and not send it away until there's like an hour or so left.. that way I have about 13-14 hours to remake stuff.

and i play until 30 min before my boat arrives, then I go to bed and not open the game till I wake up... i earn an extra 6 hours of production time...

That is so brilliant; I have wasted so many chances by making the boat go early!

That was probably me, I was lucky enough to get the errand boy and instead of paying 10 diamonds for a single strawberry I paid him for three days to get me enough to get started. If I were you I would start at the beginning of this thread and read all posts. It will help you a lot

I wholeheartedly second this suggestion... I have been following this thread since the beginning (yes, that makes me a creepy stalker) and it has helped me not freak out during server outages, helped me decide where to spend my precious diamonds, and annoyed me no end when I never get lottery trucks or errand boys. A lot of back reading, but worth the while!

What is with these freaking connection issues?!?!?!?! Major since the update 'server not responding' every few mins and then gets right back on to say it again and again and again. Anyone else havng this issue?

It's gotten better for me since the latest update. Have you tried restarting your iDevice and closing all running apps?

I have to close out and restart every once in awhile it usually works a lot better after the restart

I cant keep up with the bars, I don't sell them on orders or at all, I buy everyone I find regardless of price and I still can't keep up. They take too long to make compared to the time for the jewelry and the amount you need. I would think the developers would have figured this out beforehand. Ugh ok I'm done ranting,

Ditto, paid an awful lot for that jeweler to sit dormant, but even with 5 smelters going full tilt I can't keep up.

I normally don't complain because I love this game but did they not do the math. Also, I really don't understand why the strawberries don't go towards the berry picker achievement.

They probably made that achievement before they thought about adding the strawberries.

They did do the math and it equals speeding up the production of bars using diamonds. But if you have a solid network of friends you won't have to spend diamonds.
