Are u going to buy it? Me personally I will wait for the larger discounts since I know they exist and Supercell raised their prices.

Maybe! But since you said that, I will wait too.

Surely a lovely discount on Christmas Day!

Yes I was having a big issue 1-2 weeks ago. I had restarted my device several times, deleted and reinstalled apps. I was going crazy. Then I read about doing a "cold" or hard reboot on the apple devices where you hold the on/off button for a minimum of 30 seconds. Everything restored itself after that.

You start holding the button for 30 secs while device is on?

Try this...

Have you tried to do the following?

Do the first 2 steps first. Save step 3 as a last resort.

1. Force the app to close?
2. Try to restart your iPad?
3. Try to do a soft reset?

You can try this in order, if an app becomes funky.

Force the app to close down by pushing the home button twice to bring up your multi-task bar. This will show all the apps that you have visited. By long pressing the app in question, it will begin to jiggle-press the red circle with the negative sign on the app. It will only quit the app and not delete. Than try to re-open the app and test out.

If that doesn't work, restart the iPad by pressing the power switch down to power off.

Third is to do a soft reset by holding the power switch and home button together until you see the apple logo. Hope that helps!

Omg I know that has happened many more times than I would like to remember. Lol

And Skimonkey as lovely as she is has given you several things to try. And if all else fails then there is the cold restart option too. I hope something works for you!!

The cold restart is what we refer to above as the soft reset or reset.

These are immediate fixes that miraculously helps apps work if they are misbehaving. It's also a good idea to close out your apps frequently to free up your RAM on older idevices. I have the iPad 2, which, I do this to frequently when things aren't working well. :)
