It does seem backwards that way.

I've been tempted to buy diamonds, I would probably only spend $5 max because I'm cheap. It is just too easy to waste them. It's already frustrating enough when I accidentally spend them, I'd be really mad if I was wasting real money. Seems like it would be pretty easy for them to put a confirmation button on them. They already have them for other things like using the last of your crops or whatever.

I've bought a few of the cheaper packages in order to expand machinery and hire Tom. Haven't spent a ridiculous amount of money tho.

They could start doing what I've seen on other games, offer packages. Like so many diamonds, so many coins and a rare item(s).

I have bought a diamonds a couple times ( never above $10) and I have not received any discount offers. So based on this thread, it appears discounts are only going out to those that have not purchased in the past. I agree there should be a confirm button and I believe they would see higher sales/profits because people would not be afraid of losing them. I really don't mind spending a little bit of money for the developers as I get lots if enjoyment out of this game (and going to the movies would cost me more and only last 2 hours). It irks me however to find out that they apparently are not offering sales to their past customers.
