There used to be little movie tickets that showed up by your mailbox. You watched an ad and would get 2 diamonds when it was done. I used to get like 3-4 a day.

pink movie ticket by the mailbox. 5 blue xp starsupon opening, 2 diamonds after watching a 10-12 seconds long advert and another 45 blue xp stars when done.
3 tickets per day on average.
then Tom became available to everyone (I never had the tryout) so got greedy, bought a diamond pack, and ticket vanished instantly

careful though, you might miss the movie ticket if you purchase diamonds (at least this happened to me - stopped as soon as I purchased some)
