Now let me explain:
I have all machinery apart from loom and make tons of jams... in fact I have now about 17 each (apart from rasp which I used 4 to fill sweetface's boat)
I am the sugar man indeed... right now I have 46 white sugars and 33 brown lol ... but I never give sugars to the boat as I need them for other products... In fact, unless the boat now asks for stupid and easy products I am not giving it valuable goods... I can get more coins and xp from truck orders... and I don't care too much about vouchers as I am only missing a dog and I am trying to get golden vouchers from jewelry or from boxes if I am lucky (lol)
HAving said that, even though I might have all the products a boat is asking for and could fill it in 1 minute I have stopped doing so. Instead, I place help signa if fellow farmers would like some additional xp for themselves.
And that way I always keep a reasonable balance of all products (particularly sugars and dairies)

Lol I was just wondering. And I could not see a jam maker through all the trees and such. So if u don't get 42 sugars from help then are u letting the boat sail without? I don't even attempt that kind of boat. I let it sail and get the next one if its decent.

Yes, I never give sugars or dairies regardless (might give goat cheese or cheese if I have large amounts but cream and butter no chance).
Same for syrups. My jam maker is on the right hand side, nextto the juice press, concealed by cherry trees lol... constantly producing..only have 2 slots on that machine, don't need to expand it since I can always keep it going

I can handle that many then one in the queue is strawberry cake. Do you need anymore sugar? I have a few, just not enough to fill a crate.

Oh don't worry about my boat asking for sugars, I would need 10 but the I then would run out so I prefer to keep my sugars and bake some cakes or cookies
As I said before, I never fill boats with sugars, not worth it. I will lose 405 xp points and a voucher, but that's no big deal

I am only going on boat 4, I am probably the only level 40 who just got a boat, and hoping to not hit the sugar request until boat number 13 I am trying to get to captain 3 before the coffee kiosk since I don't see the point of getting it.

Ok well in that sense I understand. When I was doing captain (and also the objective to fill 100000 coins of stuff) I even got requested brown and white sugars together! I didn't have large amounts of sugars back then...but I had Tom..and miraculously managed....

Just a suggestion...why don't u just let those boats sail then right away if u have no intention of filling it but are asking others to help? Then in 4 hours another comes. We all like our products too but if someone flags something then I try to help what I can. I do not care about xp. The higher u get the harder it gets. I just think you will be closing your own coffin regarding help if you choose to play the game this way.

Forgive me for the question...but I actually thought you couldn't let a boat sail right away before the time runs out...can you? If yes, I am so dumb for not realizing this -.-
how do you do that? the sail button is grayed out until all boxes are filled...

As long as you don't fill any boxes at all you can send it away. As soon as you fill any of the boxes the option is taken away until the boat is full.

GC kix1980 Level 45 I only trade for coins. I fill boats whenever I can.
