Hack to return original voltage back to camera connection kit?

Is there anyway or hack to put back the original output of voltage thru the camera connection kit? Remember like how it was at first where tons of flash drives, keyboards, n etc.. Wrked? Remember apple changed this thru a firmware update. So i would figurre there must be some method thru software to change it back so more devices can be used thru camera connection kit. Thnkx in advance ;-)

Not that anyone's found so far.
It's highly unlikely that there is a "setting" as such which can be manipulated, e.g in a plist. That would be extremely dangerous!

System component voltages and the like are usually compiled into the kernel or another core part of the OS. Therefore hacking it is extremely challenging.
